Clarence Valley Council, is currently implementing a Regional Water Supply Strategy as the key strategy to secure the reliability of water in the Clarence. It will provide both existing and future communities of the Clarence Valley and Coffs Harbour (CHCC are joint funding partners) with a reliable bulk water supply to the year 2021 and beyond. Presently these areas have a total population of over 90,000 and are served by separate water supply schemes. The strategy comprises of two key elements:
1. $180 million bulk water supply project, and a
2. regional water efficiency program.
